Our aging and mental health services are based on our belief that each individual can maximize his or her ability to live independently within the community.

Our Services

Friendship Program, Inc. provides three distinct programs offering aging and/or mental health services.  The programs are Adult Day Services, Day Rehabilitation Services, and Community Support Services. In addition, the agency offers Social Services, Health Services, Peer Support Services, Transportation Services, and Meal Services in order to provide excellent quality support for the participants.

The success of Friendship Program, Inc. lies in the wraparound services provided to the participants from each department.  As a team based agency, Friendship Program recognizes the role each department plays in creating a welcoming and supportive environment to promote participant recovery and well-being.

Friendship Program, Inc. provides:

  • Rehabilitative services which facilitate maximum independence and life satisfaction for adults
  • Teaching/education for independent living and/or work skills training
  • Family respite and support
  • Social and recreational opportunities
  • Case management and medical transportation
  • Health promotion and health maintenance opportunities

Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack meals are served to participants who attend the Adult Day or Day Rehabilitation Service programs.  These meals meet the Nebraska Department of Education nutrition guidelines.

Enroll In The Program

Referrals to participate in the Friendship Program can be made by physicians, friends, family, social services, and other community agencies. Individuals concerned about their own well-being can refer themselves.

Make A Referral

To make a referral to the Adult Day or Day Rehabilitation Service programs, call Social Services at 402-393-6911 to set up an intake appointment and tour.

To make a referral to the Community Support Service program, call the Community Support Service manager at 402-393-6911.

Follow-up

Once a referral has been made, our staff will arrange for intake, assessment, and set a start date.  Through this process, the best services and goals can be determined with each participant to lead to success.

Payment

During the referral and intake process, our staff will work with you to identify funding for services based on your benefits as well as discuss private pay fees, if necessary
